Security Options with MyFleet
Whether your fleet is large or small, the security of each and every load and vehicle is far too valuable to risk. And it goes without saying that the safety of all drivers, regardless of their geographical location, is paramount.
MyFleet is able to provide your organisation with easy and effective tools designed to protect assets and drivers.
The technological innovation behind our GPS Tracking service allows convenient monitoring of vehicle locations and status, via the mobile phone network, satellite networks in remote areas, or a combination of both.
Vehicles can be installed with a driver duress button which works remotely from a distance of up to 150 metres away. In the event that the duress button is activated, your nominated key personnel will receive an email or SMS alert. In addition, the signal emitted by activation can be routed to a security firm or security control room for an immediate and appropriate response.
Extra protection is afforded to vehicles, trailers and cargo through a MyFleet alerting system which notifies fleet or depot managers if departure occurs from a designated area without the use of an approved driver key. This indicates unauthorised operation of the vehicle or theft of the goods. It is then possible to use GPS Tracking to trace the location of the vehicle. Similarly, if a vehicle enters a banned area, an alert is received. The system is programmed – specific to the needs of your organisation – to recognise banned zones or locations relevant to, for example, the driver, the load or particular routes.
With MyFleet’s monitoring devices installed, a security alert can also be sent to relevant personnel if a vehicle is involved in a harsh braking event or an accident.

(They can be assured that their product will not be unloaded in an unauthorised warehouse never to be seen again.)
